The digital library has a rich collection of eBooks & Videos, which are organized in different categories like Banking, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, etc.

2. Who can use this digital Library?

All the employees of Canara Bank, and all the users of Canara Bank Training center can use this digital library and access the content within the premises.

3. Can I access Canara Bank Online Digital Library on my mobile device?

Yes, Canara Bank Online Digital Library is accessible on mobile devices as well using a common latest version of web browser.

4. Do I need any special hardware/accessories to access Canara Bank Online Digital Library?

Canara Bank Online Digital Library can be accessed from devices like PC, Laptop, Mobile devices supporting any web browser. No special hardware or accessories are required.

Registration

1. How do I register with Canara Bank Online Digital Library?

You can register on the online library with a valid Employee Id. Below are the steps:

  • Access the URL https://www.canaradigitallibrary.com
  • Click on Login Button
  • Click on New User Link.
  • Then enter the Valid Employee Id.

If valid Employee is valid an OTP will be sent to the user’s registered mobile number & email id.

If not a valid Employee then suitable error message will be shown.

2. How can I login to Canara Bank Online Digital Library?

You can login using below steps:

  • Type the URL https://www.canaradigitallibrary.com
  • Click on Login Button.
  • Enter the Employee ID and Passcode to access the library.
  • You will be taken to Library dashboard page after successful login.

3. How can I update my profile?

You can update your profile only after you login to canaradigitallibrary.com. Once you have logged in to your profile, you can view the profile details by clicking on the “User Icon”. To edit your profile, click on the ‘User Icon’ option. You can make changes to your Profile by editing the relevant sections from here.

4. I forget the passcode to my account. How can I login again?

You can request passcode using Forgot passcode option by entering valid Employee Id. You can reset your passcode using below steps:

  • Access the URL https://www.canaradigitallibrary.com
  • Click on Login Button.
  • Then Click on Forgot Passcode Link.
  • Then Enter valid Employee Id.
A 4 digit passcode will be send as SMS & Email to user’s registered Mobile number & email address respectively.

Find your way around Canara Bank Online Digital Library

1. What kind of eBooks are stored in this Online Digital Library?

eBooks in English covering topics like Banking, Information Technology, Finance, Business, Marketing, etc. and Reference Topics like Risk Management, Insurance, Personality and Skills and lot more.

2. What is "Internal Library"?

Through this feature, Library Admin can manage their own content in PDF format. The Canara Bank Library will have the copyright of all the custom content uploaded. Unauthorized contents should not be uploaded in the library.

All the users can access the custom contents uploaded by the MDL and SDL Admin.

3. Can I upload my publications/interests, etc.?

Only the MDL and SDL admin of Canara Digital Library can add content through the Manage Internal Library feature in the digital library platform.

4. Can I share the URL of an eBook page?

Yes, you can share the URL using below steps:

  • Open the eBook.
  • Click on the Share URL icon that is in the top right area of a book page.
  • You’ll get the message - "Book URL is copied to clip board, use CTRL + V it in email, chat, etc.
  • Click OK.
The other person can access the shared eBook by login into the platform.

5. Can same eBook be read by more than one user?

Yes, same eBook can be read simultaneously by more than one user at a time. Basically each books will have a specific number of licenses. The users can access a book as long as the number of people accessing the eBooks are within total number of licenses.

If the concurrent users for a book is more than the number of license, then the user will get a message "This book is in high demand, please try after sometime"

6. Why is my account suspended/locked?

To restore a suspended/locked account, Please contact your Library admin at sankaranl@canarabank.com.

Read E-Books

1. Can I access the eBooks remotely?

Yes, you can access the eBooks remotely using login credentials i.e. Employee ID and Passcode.

2. Can I buy books in an eLibrary?

The registered admin from Canara Bank can contact Mintbook to purchase additional eBooks.

3. I’m getting this error - "This book is in high demand, please try after some time". Why?

It means that the same book is being read by different employees of Canara Bank and you should wait for some time or contact library admin at sankaranl@canarabank.com to resolve this.

4. How can I add/remove user from my eLibrary?

Only the MDL admin of Canara Digital Library can create users through the Manage User feature in the digital library platform.

5. Can I remove the strikeout/highlighter line from an eBook?

Yes, select the strikeout / highlighted words and click on delete option in the toolbar.

6. Can I read books in my tablet/smartphone?

Yes, the eBooks are available for reading on all digital mediums.

7. Can I save the notes and see again later?

Yes, notes can be saved in digital library platform and will be available when a registered user access the same book again. Download options of notes are also available.

8. Can I have my own eBookShelf?

Yes. You can go to www.mintbook.com and register for a free eBookshelf.

9. How do I bookmark a page?

To bookmark a page click the bookmark icon that is in the top right area of a book page.

Watch Videos

1. I am unable to play videos or facing video streaming issues. Why?

The quality and speed of your internet connection can strongly affect how smoothly videos will play. To play videos, you need an internet connection with a download speed of 500+ Kbps.

2. Wrong video/ title/ description uploaded?

Please send a description of the problem along with the URL of the page to techsupport@mintbook.com.

3. Which player should I use to play videos?

You don’t need to download any video player. We are using our own customized video player and reader.

Using Search and Advanced Search Option

1. How can I search for a particular book or author?

Once you log in to the digital library, you can search the required content using Simple search option on the homepage.

2. Can I get study materials of my choice in my mother tongue?

Our ultimate aim is to provide the materials in all vernacular languages. Though, this will very much depend on the actual availability of the study materials in the vernacular languages.

3. What is advanced search option for?

Using advanced search, you can find exactly what you're looking for. It allows you to tailor search results to specific book title, author, keyword, language, and more. This makes it easier to find specific eBooks.

4. How to use advanced search?

Login to your account, using your employee id and passcode. On the home page, in search column, click on the Green Color tab. Fill in the appropriate fields to refine your search results. Click Search to see your results.

Trending eBooks helps you to see what others are reading. You can also find your readings in recent read column.

2. How many E-books can I read?

You can read N number of books from the platform. However, each books will have a specific number of licenses. You can access a book as long as the number of people accessing the eBooks are within the total number of licenses.

3. How can I see which books I've read recently?

Login to your account, using your employee id and passcode. On the home page - recent read column will displays all the books you've read.
